More from Harris and Lewis
Harris and Lewis have captivated me on multiple occasions, each visit leaving me eager for the next, despite the considerable distance from Norfolk that necessitates a two-week stay. My journeys predominantly take place in March and October, during which I have encountered a diverse array of weather conditions—from radiant sunshine and tempestuous storms to overcast skies and torrential rain.
Reflecting on the collection of photographs I have amassed over the years, I have curated some of them for this blog, organizing them into distinct sections that highlight the unique features of both Lewis and Harris. This presentation showcases panoramic vistas separately from more intimate landscape details, allowing for a richer appreciation of the stark beauty of the islands.
I invite you to delve deeper into these landscapes, where breathtaking beaches and rolling hills conceal intricate patterns and textures in the sand, rocks, and sea. There is a wealth of detail waiting to be discovered in these transformation-rich environments, and I hope my photographs convey the remarkable stories they tell. Enjoy the exploration.
